A Guelph man who brandished a knife while stealing alcohol last May has been arrested for robbery.
On May 25, three men entered the LCBO location near Gordon Street and Wellington Street and began concealing bottles inside a reusable bag.
As one of the men began walking out of the store, a security guard confronted him and stood in his path. The man brandished a knife, which he pointed at the employee before leaving the store. More than $1,600 worth of alcohol was stolen.
A 24-year-old Guelph man was arrested Friday for robbery and breaching a bail order. He was held for a bail hearing.
