Afternoon break and enter interrupted by homeowner

On April 4, 2018 at approximately 1 p.m., police were called to an Ajax Street address where there was a report of a break and enter in progress. The complainant told police she just confronted an unknown male that was in her house. It appears the male kicked in a back door to gain entry. As soon as the male realized someone was in the residence, he fled.

The male is described as 5’7”, wearing a blue hoodie over his head and faded baggy jeans. Investigation revealed the male went to Sleeman Avenue and continued to run, ending up in the area of Willow/Silvercreek.
