John F. Ross captures bronze at OFSAA rugby

The John F. Ross Royals took bronze at the OFSAA AAA provincial rugby championships earlier this month. The Royals, who went into the tournament ranked second, defeated 12th-ranked Saltfleet 24-7 in the bronze medal game.

The John F. Ross Royals took bronze at the OFSAA AAA provincial rugby championships earlier this month.

The Royals, who went into the tournament ranked second, defeated 12th-ranked Saltfleet 24-7 in the bronze medal game.

In the gold medal game, third-ranked Oakville Trafalgar defeated top seed Uxbridge 13-12 to win gold. Oakville Trafalgar had beaten Ross 13-5 in round robin action.

The Royals went 2-1 in the round robin.
