Guelph Storm blanked in Owen Sound

Guelph Storm rookie goaltender Colin Ellsworth allowed just one goal in Owen Sound but still came out on the losing end Monday.

OWEN SOUND – Rookie Owen Sound Attack goaltender Trenton Bennett made 37 saves for his first OHL win as the Attack downed the Guelph Storm 1-0 Monday night.

Guelph rookie goaltender Colin Ellsworth was almost as good, stopping 20 of the 21 shots sent his way.

Mason Wray had the lone goal of the game, late in the second period.

The loss leaves Guelph dead last in the Western Conference, seven points out of a playoff spot.

Guelph plays in Windsor Thursday then hosts Owen Sound Friday night.
