Score winning run in bottom of the seventh against Hamilton

The Guelph Royals won for the first time this season on Saturday at Hastings Stadium, downing the Hamilton Cardinals 4-3 in the game of a double header.

Guelph lost the second game of the double header 12-7, with Mike Hart and Darren Saunders hitting homers in a losing cause. Tyler Vavra took the loss on the mound.

Five of Hamilton's 12 runs were unearned.
