If the goals for your holiday shopping this year are to buy unique, artisanal, one-of-a-kind gifts for all on your list and support talented artisans, head to Fair November Craft Show at the University of Guelph, November 14 to 17.
Here, you will find original work by over 85 talented artisans, including Canadian handmade fashion pieces, jewellery, pottery, glasswork, leather, knits, metalwork, natural soaps and lotions, woodworking, delicious gourmet food, and much more.
“This is the 49th year of this incredible show of talented artisans and crafters,” said a spokesperson. “We are thrilled with the quality and diverse array of work in this huge craft show, hosted at the University of Guelph University Centre Building.”
The show runs daily from November 14 to 17: Thursday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday, November 15 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, November 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The show is conveniently located at the University of Guelph in the University Centre Building with Artisan Booths on both the Main floor (Level 1) and Basement (Level 0). Level 0 can be reached from four elevators as well as two stairwells. The stairs are located through the two double doors on the East side of the building.
Admission is free and there is lots of parking available on site.
Parking is FREE after 5pm on Thursday and Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
