KITCHENER – J.D. Williams scored in the 10th inning to lead the Guelph Royals to a 7-6 win over the Kitchener Panthers Thursday on the road during Intercounty Baseball League action.

Williams led the charge with four hits, including one double and one RBI. Garrett Takamatsu pitched in with two RBI.

Simon Grinberg, Raul Gonzalez, and AJ Karosas each had two hits for the Panthers.

Brandon Deans earned the win on the bump for the Royals. He threw five innings, striking out eight. Yadian Martinez took the loss.

The Royals improve to 19-12 and host the Panthers (10-22) Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
