PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP – On June 8, 2016 at approximately 12:35 p.m., a Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) officer was patrolling Gore Road near Wellington Road 35, Puslinch Township.
A 2006 Honda was observed parked in a hay field with three male occupants. The officer located and seized suspected marijuana and cannabis resin in the vehicle and arrests were made.
One male was released unconditionally. Two of the men were released with a court date at the scene.
38-year-old Andrej Grujic of Kitchener has been charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 Grams and Possession of Cannabis Resin over 1 gram contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 19, 2016.
46-year-old Michael Head of Ayr has been charged with Possession of Marijuana Under 30 grams contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
He is to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 19, 2016.
