Do you enjoy birding or trying to figure out what the bird you saw on your hike or in your backyard was?

Join instructor Chris Earley on Zoom from The Arboretum to take your birding skills to the next level.

Virtual sessions will run Mondays and Wednesdays for the month of November over the lunch hour. Sessions are recorded so you can watch them later that week if you miss the live session.

Chris Earley is The Arboretum’s Interpretive Biologist and author of 5 bird field guides. He will teach this series of eight virtual noon-hour lectures on eight different bird groups. ID techniques, field marks, shapes, behaviour clues and more will all be covered.

Each course will finish with a 10 - 15 minute discussion period for bird-related questions.

Bird groups covered include: Hawks, Ducks, Sparrows, Sandpipers, Gulls, Spring Warblers, Fall Warblers and Spring Migrants.

The registration fee is $70.00 per person plus H.S.T. for all eight sessions (that is less than $10 a program).
