Get a closer look at some of Guelph’s hidden gems.
Doors Open Guelph is back for another year, offering free guided tours of several of the city’s “most architecturally, historically and culturally significant sites” on Saturday, Apr. 27.
The tours and interactive experiences run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The 11 locations taking part are:
- Guelph Little Theatre, 176 Morris St.
- Artworks Gallery, Lost Aviator Coffee and Ed Video, 404 York Rd.
- Provincial Offences Courthouse, 59 Carden St.
- Guelph City Hall, 1 Carden St.
- Guelph Masonic Centre, 21 Paisley St.
- Dublin Street United Church, 68 Suffolk St. W.
- Heritage Hall, 83 Essex St.
- Guelph City Greenhouses, 709 Woolwich St.
- Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 762 Woolwich St.
- Guelph Research and Development Centre, 93 Stone Rd. W.
- Trails Open: The Rapids Sidetrail, 45 Speedvale W., in the rear parking lot
The night before, Guelph Museums will host a special Doors Open After Dark event.
It will go 5 p.m. to midnight, and will have performances, interactive experiences and behind the scenes tours.
