It's been an annual event for roughly 40 years, as boy scouts and cubs gather to see whose kub kar is the fastest, best designed and toughest.
There were 82 cars vying for top spot on Saturday at the Wellington and Area Kub Kar Rally held in the Centennial CVI cafeteria.
All competitors start with an identical block of wood and then let their imaginations take over.
Cars were juded on workmanship, design and, of course, speed.
At the end of the day there was a head-to-head and head-on demolition derby. Last car standing is the winner.
The same event for trucks was held on Friday night.
