Outlander star Richard Rankin is heading to Fergus.
The Scottish actor will be the featured guest at this year's Fergus Scottish Festival and Highland Games, being held August 11-13.
Rankin is best known for playing Roger MacKenzie on Outlander, and will be the third cast member from the show to be a part of the festival.
Festival organizers say they've been able to set up VIP experiences, including brunch, autograph and photo opportunities, as well as whisky tastings and panel discussions.
"There will be multiple opportunities to meet Rankin up close," a spokesperson said in a news release. "And in addition to scheduled featured events, he will also be participating in activities through the festival grounds."
Tickets for events featuring Rankin go on sale Wednesday, May 3 at 10 a.m.
