Library temporarily closing West End Branch starting Wednesday

In response to the Ontario Government’s modified step two announcement, the Guelph Public Library is temporarily closing its West End Branch (located within the West End Community Centre) including access to its book drop - effective Wednesday, January 5, 2022. All other library locations will remain open at a 50 per cent capacity.

In-person events planned for January will now move to virtual options only. Participate in one of the many free program offerings by registering online at www.guelphpl.ca/events.

Online access to the library's digital services remains accessible through the library’s website. With your library card, you can download eBooks, eAudiobooks and magazines; stream movies and music; learn a new language or improve your skills through online courses plus so much more!

Need a library card? Guelph residents can register for virtual library cards through the library's catalogue and in-person at any open library location.
