Michael House, a local charity dedicated to providing shelter and support to pregnant and parenting women, is thrilled to announce its first-ever "Harvest Hustle 5K Trail Run & ½ Mile Family Walk," scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Strom’s Farm and Bakery in Guelph.
The Harvest Hustle promises to be a fun-filled day for all ages, bringing together the community in support of Michael House’s mission to empower women and families in need. The event offers two distance options, catering to both serious runners and families looking for a leisurely outdoor activity:
- 5K Trail Run: A scenic run starting at 8:00 am, perfect for those looking to challenge themselves while supporting a great cause. Registration is $35 per person
- ½-mile Corn Maze Walk: A family-friendly adventure starting at 9:00 a.m., featuring a stroll through Strom’s famous corn maze. Registration is $18 per person, or $50 for a family package that includes two adults and two children (ages 3-16). Children two and under are free.
Michael House has been a pillar of support in the Guelph community, providing housing, counseling, and essential services to vulnerable women and their children. By participating in the Harvest Hustle, you are directly contributing to the ongoing support and empowerment of these women as they strive to create a better future for themselves and their families.
