ELORA – Harness racing season is about to kick off in Elora.
On Friday, the Grand River Raceway (GRR) will be celebrating its 20th race season with a special meal and new wagering options.
New for this season is the addition of a second Pick 5 starting in race six and a second Pick 3 offered on the final three races of each card.
The opening night meal special is a made-in-house smash burger and kettle chips with a soft drink with buyers getting a free 20th race season stein as a keepsake.
GRR will host 48 standardbred race nights this season, including 18 Ontario Sire Stakes events, from June through September. Racing takes place every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with a post time of 6:30 p.m.
