Guelph Tourism and the Guelph Barrier Free Committee have partnered with the RTO4 and AccessNow to host a MapMission in Guelph!
We are on a mission to make our city a more inclusive and welcoming place for everyone.
We need your help to map out a more accessible Guelph!
How to participate:
- Register to attend. Further communications will come through the email you register with. Register online through Meeting Registration - Zoom.
- Attend the Introduction Session being held virtually (through Zoom) and in-person (at Guelph City Hall Meeting Room B) on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 3 to 4 p.m. to learn more about what a MapMission is, and what to look for.
- Download the free AccessNow app (or visit the desktop version) to share your experiences and rate the accessibility of places you’ve visited in Guelph between Oct. 9 and Oct. 23.Your ratings using the easy colour system—Green for Accessible, Yellow for Partially Accessible, and Red for Not Accessible—will guide many others in our community.
- Attend the Reflection Session being held virtually (through Zoom) and in-person (at Guelph City Hall Meeting Room C) on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 3 to 4 p.m. to regroup and share experiences about what we’ve learned.
