A Learn to Play Disc Golf event is this Saturday hosted by the Guelph Disc Golf Club.
The free drop-in learning event is Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Peter Misersky Park on 122 Hadati Rd.
People who want to learn are asked to bring a Frisbee. If you don’t have one of your own there are disc golf discs that can be borrowed from the library. Discs can be purchased online or in sporting stores. Volunteers from the club can also lend out disc golf discs.
The volunteers will give tips to people who come to learn how to play disc golf.
