Guelph singer/songwriter Don Sawchuk will hold an album release party Nov. 10 at the Guelph Black Heritage Society on Essex Street.

Don Sawchuk and The Underdog Band will perform music from his debut  album Underdog.

Sawchuk has dreamed of making music ever since his big sister introduced him to her collection of record albums, telling him, “Don, always follow your dream.”

Underdog features 12 songs produced by JK Gulley, who assembled a cast of some of Canada’s finest musicians - including a string ensemble, all of which punctuate Sawchuk's heartfelt storytelling.

Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance at www.donsawchuk.com or $20 at the door.

The event is licenced and will also feature the award winning documentary Let It Rock at the Crossroads of Rock’N’Roll.
