In its 18th year, the Christmas Joy Home Tour is a self-guided tour of carefully selected homes in Guelph that have been professionally decorated for the holiday season.

The 2022 Tour will have an in-person and virtual component to help our community celebrate everything they love about the holiday season. Participants can tour the homes and enjoy the sights and sounds of the season or snuggle up with a hot cup of cocoa from their home to watch the complimentary virtual tour. Purchase a ticket online to tour in-person some of the most beautiful homes in Guelph on Friday, Nov. 18 or Saturday, Nov. 19.

The Christmas Joy Home Tour benefits Hope House, centrally located in downtown Guelph which serves our community. Their goal is to nourish hope by addressing food insecurity and beyond. The 2022 Christmas Joy Home Tour proceeds will bring hope for the holidays through programs like the Affordable Gift Market which provides individuals and families experiencing poverty the opportunity to select gifts for family and friends. We have been told many times by market participants how important it is that they can select the gifts themselves, fostering dignity and choice.

This year there are six beautifully decorated homes in the Guelph area on the tour, with an exciting new feature of a Wellness Fair at Hope House on the Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tour goers can receive complimentary coffee from Lost Aviators Coffee as well as complimentary treatments from local practitioners. Bring a food or hygiene item to donate if you can and come see the tree decorated by BlueDoor interiors and design.

“I am so excited to invite everyone to the 2022 Joy Home Tour! This year's event is in-person and has a virtual option. No matter who you are or where you are, we hope that you can join us!” - Jaya James, executive director of Hope House.
