In 2020 you know a modern leader needs to have a clear, articulated vision, not just for their organization but for themselves. What is the role you want to play? Not just you or your organization’s profile but in the community? How does one build a profile and brand that is about your mission and not about personal aggrandizement?

These are the questions posed by keynote Paul Nazareth, a leader in Canada’s philanthropic sector with over 20 years’ experience. Currently Vice President, Education & Development at the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, he is also the founder of Connectworking – a skill-building program for people of purpose.

Paul has been featured in the Globe & Mail and Forbes on the topic of personal branding and in his role with Connectworking, Paul continues to teach networking strategy to social and non-profit leaders. With thanks to RLB, Chartered Professional Accountants, PIN is thrilled to welcome Paul to its third Annual Executive Director Peer Group Symposium along with local leaders for a day of peer learning.

“The voyage continues and builds on the success of the past two years,” says Christine Oldfield, Executive Director, PIN. “The opportunity to connect, network and leverage the strengths of local leaders and organizations strengthens community. By investing in yourself, you invest in your organization and our community.”

PIN - The People and Information Network, formerly the Volunteer Centre of Guelph Wellington, is pleased to offer this event again this year. This daylong event will consist of concurrent sessions on relevant topics such as funding to team development. Community leaders such as not-for-profit Executive Directors and Managers are invited to attend the Symposium; tickets are $75 and lunch will be provided.

When: Friday, Jan. 31 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Guelph Youth Music Centre, 75 Cardigan St. Guelph
To register: PINnetwork.ca
