With spinning wheels and spinning tunes the streets of downtown Guelph will once again be lit up by the Guelph Coalition for Active Transportation’s 4th Annual Bike the Night Event.

Set to take place on Saturday, Sept. 28, this free event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Market Square.

Bike The Night welcomes riders of all ages and abilities to this vibrant party on wheels. Participants are encouraged to decorate their bikes with lights and reflectors.

Prizes donated from local businesses will be awarded for the Best Illuminated Bike and Best Costume!

Some riders in past years have even created their own bike “floats!”

DJs from CFRU 99.3 FM will get the crowd moving and participants can bring portable speakers to tune in on the ride.

GCAT is dedicated to promoting and facilitating active transportation in Guelph. The organization works towards creating a healthier, more sustainable, and connected community through advocacy, education, and events throughout the year.

Registration is required. While the event is free, participants are encouraged to make an optional donation to support GCAT's ongoing initiatives.

For more information and to register go to Bike The Night 2024.
