MOUNT FOREST — A new, limited edition version of Monopoly is looking to celebrate everything Mount Forest with lots of pizza sprinkled along the way.

The Mount Forest Chamber of Commerce has launched Mount Forest-opoly, a localized version of Monopoly with custom Mount Forest locations and jokes hidden across the board.

Highlights of the game include spots for local businesses like T.D Smith, Final Grade Excavating and John's Towing. There are also custom spaces for Wellington North property tax, The Lion's Club and 88.7 The River, not to mention the jail has been replaced with "go to the pizza store."

Even the board game pieces have received a local upgrade, with a Ferris wheel to represent the Mount Forest Fireworks Festival and a cow for Meat the Butcher.

There are 600 copies currently available between Young's Home Hardware and Plume's Main Street Interiors for $45 each, not including tax.

More retailers will be added later this week.
