Indie-funk band the Boo Radley Project is set to take over the sheets for their third annual "Boospiel" curling tournament at the Elora Curling Club on Saturday, March 15.
Intended for all skill levels, the day will begin with an instruction session from pro-mother-daughter curling duo Dorothy and Nicole Brockbank, who will stay on the ice to give tips during the beginner’s first game.
Participating teams will get:
-
Two, two-hour games (novice and intermediate draw)
-
Hors d'Oeuvr-y snacks from Elora's The Friendly Society
-
Pizza lunch
-
Fabulous prizes (new category for 2025: best team entry dance!)
-
Live concert from The Boo Radley Project
-
Close the club down with a dance party
Curling brooms and sliders will be available for those who don’t own them. Attendees of the curling club's junior curling program are asked to bring a tip.
