YNCU and Community First are capping off an exciting year with 12 days of Neighborhood Cheer. Last spring the credit union debuted their new brand to its members along with a fresh look and fresh ideas.
A key pillar of the new brand is the Good Neighbours Program, an initiative started internally as a way to support credit union staff and give back to members.
Throughout the year the Good Neighbours Program rewards staff members who volunteer their time to support local events and charitable programs with a financial donation to further support their cause.
In December, the Good Neighbours Program is in full effect with a special 12 days of Neighborhood Cheer. Every day from December 13 to 24, YNCU and Community First will be featuring one of the many great causes located within the community online and highlighting the special staff ambassador who made a donation on the credit union’s behalf. From collecting toys for toy drives and pet food for the humane society (and many others in-between) the staff at YNCU and Community First have had a busy December running around their towns doing their best impression of Santa’s elves as they’ve collected items to donate.
All the videos will be published to the YNCU and Community First Facebook pages and YouTube channels where they can be shared.
The Good Neighbours Program runs throughout the year and we encourage our community members to submit their charity or organization of choice that would benefit from a good neighbour partner.
