Taste of Guelph is St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation’s signature garden party fundraiser.

Now in its 27th year, this special foodie experience is happening Sunday September 15, 2024, from 1 to 4 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of St. Joseph’s Health Centre.

“We have more than 50 food and beverage providers confirmed for this year’s event,” said Jennifer Hall, VP, Development at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation. “It’s going to be an incredible afternoon for all of our guests, as they have the opportunity to sample offerings from all of these very talented and generous artisans.”

Tickets are $150 per person and include access to all of the food and beverages at the event. For an even more delightful experience, there are a limited number of shaded tables for four which can be reserved for $1000.

Food and beverages at the event will be provided by, among others, Bar Mason Restaurant, Belly and the Beast Food Company, Cox Creek Cellars, Decadently Yours, Four Fathers Brewing, Jannat-E-Punjab Bar and Grill, Los Rolling Tacos, Market Fresh, Park Eatery, Retour Bistro, The Albion, TLK Catering, With The Grain, and many, many more.

“We are so very grateful to all of the food and beverage providers, and to the sponsors of this signature event, especially our presenting sponsor, Linamar,” said Hall. “We truly couldn’t produce this exceptional event without their support.”

Hall continued, “We will also have live music by the very popular Blackwater Trio, a live auction with all kinds of wonderful items to bid on, and we are bringing back Prohibition Pantry, which is always a hit with our guests.”

Every year, Taste of Guelph raises funds for crucial equipment for St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and this year is no exception. Funds raised this year will go towards the purchase of a new fleet of medication carts.

“Our Complex Care Hospital patients rely on an average of over 30 different medications every day,” Hall explained. “That's why these carts are critical in managing the complicated regimen of medication people facing challenging diseases such as cancer, cardiac disease, COPD, multiple sclerosis and ALS rely on.”

Last year, St. Joseph’s welcomed 1000 members of the community to this unique event. Hall exclaimed, “We look forward to welcoming at least that many to this year’s event. We know you will have a wonderful, special afternoon, and we can’t wait to see you!
