"The first quarter of 2023 was down significantly over 2022, but this was predicted in our 2023 Guelph real estate market outlook. However starting in late March, limited inventory caused buyers to fight over houses again. Even if there were multiple offers on houses, often times the best offer was a conditional offer or was under the asking price.
