The problem with corporate venues that host business meetings is the fact they’re so corporate. Sterile environments are not conducive to foster the kind of “out of the box” thinking companies expect in their strategic planning sessions and organizational staff meetings and gatherings.
Now imagine a rustic country setting surrounded by nature and an inviting venue that’s fully equipped for not only business but also a whole lot of pleasure – especially during golf season.
That’s the joy of hosting your potential off-site meetings at the Guelph Country Club catered by Jesse’s on the Green.
“Businesses are looking to offer their employees a better work environment after returning from COVID isolation and that includes hosting far more productive meetings,” said Rod Pollock, Director Of Hospitality and owner of Jesse’s on the Green. “Our venue here at the Guelph Country Club is perfectly suited to host staff functions, corporate meetings, and other business-lead initiatives.”
Hotels and conference centres are fairly cookie-cutter in what they can provide when it comes to hosting your next corporate meeting. Now that businesses have ditched online engagement platforms like ZOOM or Microsoft Teams for their meetings, the Guelph Country Club offers a warm and inviting location for employees to gather in-person to conduct their activities. According to Pollock, the Guelph Country Club offers all the relevant amenities and equipment required for your meeting to be a success.
“We’ve got overhead projectors, 65-inch televisions that are mobile so you can use them anywhere,” said Pollock. “We supply everything. There’s free parking and great meal packages that can be customized.”
White boards, flip charts, markers and other meeting necessities are all part of any meeting package booked at the Club. The venue also offers top of the line Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Access Points WiFi capabilities to ensure there are no connectivity issues during important meetings. Guelph Country Club offers two primary meeting options: the Heritage Room for up to 25 guests, or the recently renovated Waverly Room and lounge which can accommodate up to 100.
The facility follows accessibility guidelines ensuring that all guests can access all the Club has to offer.
For companies that want to combine business with a little leisure and recreation, there are plenty of distractions to take the stress off a busy day of meetings according to Pollock.
“We have pickleball, golf, shuffleboard, and lots of side games. There’s also the putting green. Sometimes it’s just a great way to break up the monotony of a meeting. There are lots of things to do.”
With social distancing restrictions all but eliminated, many companies may also be considering hosting company Christmas parties again for the first time since 2019.
Pollock says Jesse’s Catering is on hand at the Club to provide a variety of menu packages or customized lunch and dinner options whether it’s for meetings or holiday festivities. To inquire about potential bookings, visit them online here.
