Making award-winning spirits is an experience—and so is visiting the very spot where the magic happens.
Dixon’s Distilled Spirits is known for their award-winning vodka, gin, liqueurs, whisky and coolers. The distillery is also a destination unto itself. Located within the City of Guelph, it’s the place to go when you’re in the mood to explore and discover.
They offer tastings, group tours and host holiday parties and events. They’re also happy to accommodate casual drop-ins to their sipping room.
“The only thing we love more than making fine spirits is sharing what we do,” says Jeremie Dixon, President and Co-Founder of Dixon’s Distilled Spirits.
Tours are a one-hour experience that include an in-depth look at how their spirits are produced. They are followed by a tasting and some time to shop. Tours are available every Saturday and on select Sundays.
They even have an in-store cocktail and bar menu you can enjoy. Try a classic, signature or specialty cocktail, a tonic ‘n soda, fusion blend or one of their non-alcoholic drinks alongside an array of your favourite sweet and salty snacks. While sipping a cocktail (or two), challenge your mates to a friendly game; there are board games and card games available for you to play.
The distillery certainly makes a unique location for a group outing. They host after-hours bookings for any occasion and will work with you to create a one-of-a-kind experience for your friends or work colleagues.

This is one holiday event you won’t want to miss. On Saturday, December 16th, Dixon’s Distilled Spirits will be hosting a Sip and Shop from 1-6 pm. You can enjoy a festive cocktail or a beer while you shop the booths of over 10 local businesses; it’s a great outing to do with friends. Find the perfect gift to give this Christmas or treat yourself to a few locally made goodies.

Exciting product launch
The company is also launching a brand-new product: Dixon’s Wicked Original Gin. It features a unique mix of ingredients, including citrus, lavender, green cardamom, allspice, Juniper Berry and Angelica root. It was launched at the distillery, and they are working on getting it into the LCBO.
“When tasting the product, the heavy taste of the juniper pairs well with the sweetness of the orange, and it gives a nice spice after taste,” says Lead Administrator Cassidy Montague. “We invite our local lovers to check it out as part of a bigger in-distillery experience you can only get at Dixon’s.”
