A Guelph woman had her vehicle seized for an undetermined period after she was caught driving while suspended for the third time this year.

Just after 5 p.m. Saturday, police attended an address on Hadati Road for a driving complaint. Officers located the vehicle being driven in the area and conducted a traffic stop. Investigation revealed the driver’s licence is suspended, and that she was charged in April and again in May with driving while suspended and driving without insurance.

A 65-year-old Guelph woman now faces a third count of each charge. To prevent continuation of the offence, her vehicle was seized under the Highway Traffic Act and will not be returned without a court order or until the charges have made their way through court.
