Guelph police are investigating after a thief stole his own getaway vehicle Monday.
Approximately 6:30 p.m. police received a call from a business near Woodlawn Road West and Silvercreek Parkway North. A man had entered the store, got on an electric minibike and rode it out the front doors.
The bike was described as a black and red Kandi Trail King child-size minibike valued at $1,000. The suspect was a white male, 5’9”, wearing a red flannel shirt or jacket, dark-coloured vest, grey and black winter hat with ear flaps and a backpack with a helmet hanging from it.
