Guelph police report that a man has been arrested on a series of theft charges, including six counts of stealing gas from the same south end station.
In November police began an investigation into a male involved in several retail thefts. These included six gas drive-offs from the same station during the month of November as well as three shoplifting incidents at different businesses.
On Jan. 2 officers located the man sitting in his vehicle in a parking lot on Silvercreek Parkway North and he was arrested.
A 39-year-old Guelph man is charged with nine counts of theft under $5,000.
