Guelph police still investigating jewelry store smash and grab

Four suspects are sought

Guelph police continue to investigate the robbery Friday of a Stone Road Mall jewelry store.

Approximately 5:35 p.m. police were notified of a robbery in progress at Charm Diamond Centre in the mall after four masked males entered the store and used hammers to smash display cases and remove product. As they ran from the mall, one of the males discharged a noxious substance.

The males were described as:

  1. Male wearing an olive-green fleece-style hoodie, grey track pants, white running shoes with red and grey on the heel and a red sole, a medical mask and carrying a hammer and a can of spray
  2. Male wearing grey hoodie with a red logo on the left sleeve, possibly gloves with red or orange on them, black pants, white running shoes, black style duffle bag or knapsack and a medical mask
  3. Male wearing a black hoodie, black pants, black running shoes, black style duffle bag or knapsack and a medical mask
  4. Male wearing a black hoodie, black pants with white strip from the hip to the knee area on the right side, black running shoes, black style duffle bag or knapsack and a medical mask.
