A Guelph man was arrested Monday for spitting at a Guelph police officer.
Approximately 9:30 a.m. officers were at a downtown social service agency at the request of staff to speak to a male who was acting erratically. During the conversation the male continually spat on the floor and a table. When asked to stop doing so he spat towards an officer, who was not struck.
A 22-year-old Guelph man was arrested for assault police.
