CRIMESTOPPERS: Cash, cigarettes reported stolen during armed robbery

At approximately 5:20 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, a robbery took place at Simply Convenient located on Gordon Street in Guelph.

Two males entered the store and threatened the clerk with a knife. Stolen was a quantity of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The first male is described as wearing a Halloween costume consisting of a black cape, white mask, and gloves. He was about 6’ tall with a stocky build and dark eyes. The second male is described as white, about 5’5” tall, with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a black ski mask, black hoodie, black pants, black and grey running shoes, a black backpack, and white gloves.
