Guelph police are investigating after approximately $10,000 worth of wire was stolen from a west end business.

On Monday police were called to a business near Speedvale Avenue West and Royal Road after employees discovered a storage container had been entered by cutting off a padlock. A number of spools of wire were stolen.

Employees also discovered a hole had been cut in the fence to gain access to the yard. It is believed the break-in occurred late Sunday or early Monday.
