VALIQUETTE, Robert (Bob)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Hospice Wellington on August 28, 2017. Bob, loving husband of 58 years to Shirley. Beloved father of Mark (Kerri), Tracy (Eric) Smith, Scott (Tammy), Jeff (Cleo), Michelle (Paul) McLean, and Craig (Natasha). Cherished grandfather of Dana, Leah, Matthew (Amanda), Brandon (Amanda), Heather, Ren, Kayla (Brad), Sean, Jacquelyn, Curtis, Tyler, Zachary, Adam, Andrew and Evan and great-grandfather of Malaya. He is survived by his sister Margaret (William) Synnott and predeceased by his brother Arthur. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Bob was a longtime employee of Hammond Manufacturing of Aberfoyle.

Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Parish, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, donations in Bob’s memory made to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
