Passed away, suddenly, on Monday, February 20, 2017, at the age of 61. Loved father of Jessica (Mike Groves), Michael (Jen Savage), Stephanie (Erik Hardy). Proud Nonno of Thomas Groves. Loved brother of Nella (Delfino) Calligari and Rick (Julia) Turchet. Predeceased by his parents, Torindo and Rina (nee Donato) Turchet. Elio will be missed by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was an active volunteer, for many years, with the Guelph Multicultural Festival.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment of Ashes, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
