It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Edward Tremblay, a loving husband, caring father, and everlasting friend, on March 8th, 2025.

John leaves behind his beloved wife, Diane; his two sons, Andrew and Matthew; his mother, Jean (Ian); his sister, Anne (Jean Louis); his sister-in-law, Debby (Ken); his brother-in-law, John; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, and two very special grand-puppies, Kingsley and Bismarck. John was predeceased by his father, Louis.

Hockey was a staple in John's life from a young age, continuing through his time coaching his sons and eventually joining them on the ice as teammates. Known by many as ‘Coach,’ John left a lasting impression on the hearts of all those he encountered, especially in the hockey community.

With his trademark smile and a genuine joy in the happiness of others, John was a fixture at any gathering. He loved camping with his boys and traveling with his beloved wife, Diane. John took great pride in his photography, a hobby and passion that allowed him to turn family trips into lasting memories and unforgettable videos.

A dedicated learner, he was always seeking out new courses to expand his knowledge. Whether it was for work, photography, hockey, nature, wildlife, astronomy, computers, or computer animation.

John was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Gone far too soon, he will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

A celebration of life will be held to honor and celebrate John’s life at a later date, yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org), the Cancer Society, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
