February 28, 1959 – February 3, 2025
Timothy James Thiessen (Jim) passed away from colon cancer at home on Feb 3, 2025 at age 65 with his wife Donna at his side. Loved Father of Michelle and Kevin, he will be missed by his Yorkie, Seven. Loved son of Ben Thiessen and step mom Ruth Anne Thiessen. Brother of Tom Thiessen (Karen) of Tiny, ON Sherri Shaver (Todd) of Arthur ON and Sue (Paul) Hodge of Victoria, B.C Brother-in -law of Brian (Vicki) Ramsay, Ron (Wendy) Ramsay both of Guelph, ON and Brenda MacIsaac of Dashwood, ON. Predeceased by his Mother Helen Thiessen. (1989) He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Special nephew of Judy and Gord Campbell of Mississauga.
Jim enjoyed talking about food, shopping for food, preparing food, and most of all eating food. Jim also enjoyed his job driving a concrete truck for Hogg Fuel and Supply in Kitchener.. A special thank you to Gord, Stephanie, Randall and Steve from Hogg. Your help, kindness and visits will never be forgotten.
A huge thank you to all the doctors and nurses on 5 West Guelph General Hospital especially nurses Maria, Hailey, and Madison. Their care, humour and hugs will be forever cherished. Thank you also to everyone who worked tirelessly to coordinate everything so Jim could pass at home.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral service.
