It is with heavy minds and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Keven Charles Teschke on January the 22nd 2025 at the age of 67 yrs.

He passed peacefully at home from a sudden heart attack with the unconditional love and support of his wife Christina ever by his side.

Keven is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 29 yrs Christina Teschke (Botter), his devoted son Jeremy and daughter in law Lauren Sorbara, with Keven’s grand children Noah, Eden, Seth and Audrey. As well as his mother in law Dorothy Botter and extended family Gary and Melinda Botter, David and Lori Botter, his sister in law Marlene King, and his estranged wife and life long friend Sandi Bolster and dear nieces and nephews.

Keven was predeceased by his parents Howard and Romelda (Millie) Teschke and brother Ross Teschke. As well as his father in law John Botter.

Keven had a long checkered life with health concerns associated with diabetes. Keven was forever grateful during his journey in life for a transplanted kidney in 1998. Doctors often marvelled at his grit and resilience and the remarkable success of the transplant which granted him a new lease in life regarding his health for a remarkable 27yrs. Allowing Keven to continue with his hobbies and passion for all things with wheels. Rarely would one see the cars dirty. Keven drew true joy from the many miles on the snowmobile trails ranging from Belwood to Owen sound with his son and long time like minded friends. Keven started his career with Zehrs markets in 1976 and retired after 35yrs, to focus on maintaining his health and enjoying an active and relaxed later years.

Everyone could count on a different and often hilariously jaded perspective of things in general when Keven was at the conversation table whether it be at his local morning coffee groups, with his immediate families, or visiting the local garages of his friends for the weeks engineering marvels in automotive service circles. Keven also enjoyed R/C toys when his health limited his capacities on occasion and always had fond memories of his friends in the hobby world. In the end Keven made his own donations for someone else to have a better quality of life as he was blessed to experience himself truly paying it forward. Every new beginning comes from some other beginnings end. Keven’s family wishes to extend a tremendous thank you to the many doctors and nurses that endured him at his worst of health with grace and compassion over a long road.

As per Keven’s wishes cremation has taken place and there are no funeral services. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.

Any and all anecdotes of anyone’s personal relationship with Keven would be readily accepted and appreciated as a form of celebrating his life and profound impact on the people around him through sharing the fond memories anyone who had ever met Keven was sure to have. We will forever miss his charm and sarcastic wit.

Rest in peace pop
