SMITH, Gary George

Peacefully with his loving family by his side at the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Petra for 42 wonderful years. Loving dad of Paul and Mark (Carrie). Cherished opa of Chloe, Dakota, Makayla and Carter. He is survived by his father Clarence (Thelma), his brothers Douglas (Linda), Terry (Pat), and sister Barbara (Harold). He will be sadly missed by his many family members, cousins, nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. 

Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
