It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Kathleen Sinclair (nee Poole) at the age of 76 after a short illness, at Wellington Hospice on August 22nd, 2023, with family by her side.

Sharon was the proud mother of Brett (Trudy) and Chris (Andrea) she was the loving grandmother of Talon (Allyssa), Brody (Madison), Nicole (Riley), Darin (Kara), Alex, and Jack, as well as a Great Grandmother to Haven, Easton, Theo, Hudson, and Emersyn.

Sharon will be fondly remembered by her brothers and sister Larry (Beatrice) Ron "Whitey", Judy, Bruce (Lisa), and Brian (Anne) as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by Parents David and Lorraine Poole, as well as her sister Carol, and her brother Mike.

Sharon worked at the University of Guelph for many years and loved it there, made many friends as well as travel buddies.

She enjoyed travelling, going up to the Sauble area and looked back fondly at the many, many family trips up there both as a kid and with her own family, and for many years also loved knitting.  There wasn't too many who didn't get something that she had knitted from mitts, sweaters, to blankets.   She always looked forward to getting her hair done at JC's as well.  She was also starting to really enjoy her new home at Chartwell where she was known as the "dancing queen".

Special thanks to the staff on 4 West and Wellington Hospice for their care and attention, as well a very special thank you to "Poch" Anthony Padovan who went above and beyond as a neighbor and friend for Mom to help her enjoy her home even longer.

As per her request cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date to be announced.  Arrangements entrusted to WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).

Memorial contributions to the Hospice Wellington or Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated.

A tree will be planted in memory of Sharon K. Sinclair in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
