It is with blessed acceptance that we announce the passing of George Shirton on December 30th, 2024.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Luanne. Loving father of Kate (Andrew) and Kevin (Caitlyn). Cherished grandpa of Isla, Teddy, Felix and Kyle. Predeceased by his parents George and Betty Shirton.
Former employee of Van Harten Surveying Inc., Guelph. George loved his family, gardening, his dog Sadie, and all the Toronto sports teams.
The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to nurse Jessica and the responding EMS, police and firefighters for their assistance and kindness.
