SEMPLE, Kenda Marie

After many courageous battles with her health for five years, Kenda finally fought her last one, and passed away at the age of 63 years on Monday, July 23, 2018 at the Guelph General Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Irvin for 40 years, mother to Westly (Nancy) and Nanny to Parker and Kennedy. She was an employee of the University of Guelph for over 30 years. Her passion was shopping and her Saturday meetings with the Awakening Group. Special thanks to her home care nurse Angela, Dr. Landis, Dr. Kottachchi, the nurses of 4th floor and her sister-in-law Sandy who always managed a visit with Tim's Tea.
Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to a memorial gathering to celebrate Kenda's life, in the Fellowship Lounge at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N. Guelph, on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, buy yourself something at one of the Dollar stores. You might see Kenda's spirit there.
