Passed away, peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2025. Rosaliva Scarozza, in her 93rd year, was predeceased by her beloved husband, of 63 years, Felice (Gigi) Scarozza. She was the dear mother of Antonietta (Tonie) (Angelo) Plozzer, Marcella (Giuseppe) Ferraro, Aurelia (Roderick) Schwab.
Rosaliva was the loving Nonna of Richard (Amanda) Plozzer, Jason (Diane) Ferraro, Marco (Victoria) Plozzer, Giuseppe (Joey) Ferraro Jr., Erik (Alison) and Christina (Adam) Schwab, and she was the Bisnonna of Anthony, Christian, Merrick, Melia, Calia, Matteo, Gabriella, Felix, Edison and Thomas. She is survived by her brother Enrico Augostini. Rosaliva was predeceased by three sisters, Virginia, Clara and Pia. She loved time with so many family and friends and will be missed in her home town of Cave, Italy and Guelph. Special thanks to the 4 East staff of Guelph General Hospital.
Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert Macintyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 409 Paisley Rd., Guelph on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025 10:30 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
