SABBADIN, Tranquillo Giovanni

Passed away at St. Mary’s Hospital, Kitchener, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Tranquillo Sabbadin, in his 83rd year, was the beloved husband of the late Rita Anna (nee Sponga) Sabbadin (1990). He was the dear father of Luigi Sabbadin, Silvana (Mark) Pacholkiw, Giuseppe (Elizabeth) Sabbadin and Sonia Sabbadin (John Zandbergen). Tranquillo was the dear Nonno of Michael and Victoria Sabbadin,, Alexander Pacholkiw, Lorelai and Temperance Sabbadin-Zandbergen and Stevie Mullin and Michael Zandbergen. Tranquillo is survived by three sisters and one brother, all in Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Sante and Tranquilla (nee Luison) Sabbadin and by two brothers. The family will recieve friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, January 14th and Sunday, January 15th, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. John's Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Monday, January 16th at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
