Linda Ann Rowan of Listowel passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, in her 76th year.
Beloved wife of the late Robert Rowan. Loving mother of Tina Ostriyznick, Steven (Shannon) Ostriyznick, the late Thomas Rowan (Nov 2017), and Heather Rowan (Trevor Strassburger). Loving Grandmother of Marty Conte (Jennifer Freeman), Shannon Conte, Reese Ostriyznick, Abbi Ostriyznick, Natalie Ostriyznick, Rowan Strassburger, and Ryann Strassburger. Dear sister of Alan Miller (Bernice Blackman), David Miller, Paul Miller, and Laurie (Dan) Dietrich. Linda is survived by her nephews and niece. She is predeceased by her parents Neil and Sadie Miller.
Linda worked as a legal secretary and worked for many years at SV Law in Guelph. Linda enjoyed knitting and sewing, she created so many wonderful items over the years. She had a love for animals and spending time with her children and grand children. Linda was a loving, caring and kind mother, grandmother and sister and would do anything for her family. She will be deeply missed and forever loved and in our hearts.
A Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park at a later date.
