Rogers, Beverly Marion,
born on April 29, 1955, in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, passed away on September 12, 2024, with her loving husband by her side.

She was married to her husband, Glen, for 43 wonderful years. She was a loving and devoted mother to her son, Jason (Kourtnie) Rogers. Adored Grandma of Sawyer, Hayden, and Nolan. Dear sister of Betty Sauntry (Ben), Anne Ramsay (Michael), Renie Smeltzer, Stewart Smeltzer (Ruby), and Artie Smeltzer. Predeceased by her son Jeremy, her sister Ester Lafferty, and brothers Gary and John Smeltzer.

Beverly loved to laugh and always lit up a room with her smile and effortless kindness. She was loved and will be sadly missed by all her family as well as her dear friends. She faced the end of her life the same way she lived; with great integrity, strength, and grace.

Beverly was a very driven woman who spent over 43 years working in the bakery & deli departments of Sobeys and Walmart, respectively. During her career, she achieved various accolades and promotions over the years until ultimately retiring as Director of Bakery and Deli for Walmart. She adored nature and loved nothing more than going for drives with Glen, camping in their RV, traveling around Canada and the US; and especially enjoying the beaches of Prince Edward Island.

Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Beverly’s Life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel 1099 Gordon St. Guelph on Saturday September 21, 2024 from 2-5 p.m.

As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Waterloo Wellington. Donation cards are available at the funeral home or online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com
