Went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, after a brief battle with cancer.
Joan was the loved wife of Merv, mother of Sherry (Steve Elrick) and Sue, grandmother of Ben (Keke), Matt and Chris (Marley) Kettlye and Karsen Lawrenson. Great grandmother of Isla and Landon Kettyle. Dear sister of Kaye (Bill Lewis) and Anne Lewis, sister-in-law of Lorna Gray and Fran Richardson. Predeceased by her brothers-in-law Dennis Gray and Lloyd Richardson.
Joan enjoyed working with and teaching children, both in the school system and in her church. She loved travelling, sewing and volunteering her time to help others.
A private family graveside service will be held.
