With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Alice Muysson on Monday, March 3, 2025, at the age of 94.
Born in Guelph, Ontario, she is predeceased by her loving husband Hans Muysson (April 8, 2010). Alice is survived by her sons James Weeks (Cori), Allan Weeks, Brian Weeks (Fabiola), stepsons, Bruce Muysson (Jan), Peter Muysson (Kim) and Jeffrey Muysson (Penny). Loving grandmother to Michael Weeks, Alisha (Sean MacCallum), Brent Weeks, Ryan Weeks and Jenni (Derek Boudreau), Ali (Sebastien Normandin), Kyle, Joel, Blair, Kendal, Olivia & Connor. Great-grandmother to Lauren, Hailey, Maddox, Zachary, Ella, Carter, Olivia and Alistair. Alice will also be forever cherished by her nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. A special thank you to her niece Peggy-Ann for her kindness, care and friendship over the years it meant the world to her.
Predeceased by her parents, Robert & Peggy Sands, Sisters Grace MacDonald, Helen McCallum and brother Robert Sands, brother-in-law Alexander Macdonald, Robert McCallum, sister-in law Gertrude Sands, and daughter-in-law Lynda Weeks.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to the wonderful Doctors, Nurses, PSW’s and staff at St. Joseph’s Health Centre Guelph, in the Whispering Oaks care unit and at the Guelph General Hospital.
As per Alice’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be a private family internment in Parry Sound Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL (519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Joseph's Health Centre Foundation, Guelph, or Guelph General Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Alice Muysson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
